Idler pulley

Stock idler pulleys use to crash after 50-70k. Do they still do so? Also there use to be a guy in Montana(?) that built boost modules, elbows, and a steel pulley. I bot one from him for my last Ram and want another for the new truck. Anyone know his name and contact info?
