if anyone has added roof clearance lamps please post

Im looking for Roof lamp part #'s and is there a harness I need to buy to power them. I did them on my 03 ford, and It needed a different harness that had pigtails to power the lamps and the overhead console. Part # for that also? I have a 06, but assume 03-06 would be similar. Thanks, Jim

The dealer has the roof lights set, it is an original MOPAR parts. I had mine installed at the dealership in Elkin, North Carolina. The cost was covered by the dealer. My salesman said it cost him $250 for parts and labor.

Holy $#!% Mostly labor I presume? I will call up them tomorrow if someone has the P/N for the kit it will preserve my sanity dealing w/them

Also, I had mine installed for $115. 00 but my friend runs the collision center at the Chrysler dealership.

I purchased the clearance lights for my '04 last year from the dealer after looking it up on Mopar.com and the part # that I ordered was 82207252. When I looked it up tonight after reading your post, it shows a part # of 82207252AB for both '04 and '06 models. I had the dealer install my lights and from looking at the work order, the only thing I was charged for was the labor, no extra harness. So it appears that everything needed comes in the kit. Pix in reader's rigs were taken after the clearance lights were installed. FYI, it was 89 for the light kit from dealer and 199 labor.

I will look tomorrow but won't be able to post until I get out of clinicals. Probably around 8. I know they ran a wire but can't remeber where to.

Most shop manuals I have looked at have a connector behind the A-Pillar on the driver's side.

I ordered and received the MOPAR kit from that ebay link. It includes a wiring harness. The ground wire simply taps into the sheetmetal anywhere under the headliner, and there is a long green wire that goes thru the firewall and needs to be tapped into the normal light wiring under the fuse box under the hood. It comes with instructions that show the 03-05 and the 06 truck (different fuse box designs).



I haven't installed the kit yet, just got it two days ago. Looks relatively simple, removing the headliner and drilling several holes in the roof. It comes with a full size template to find the proper light locations too.
