if balance beads work then wouldn't the same weight antifreeze?

I have both the powder and the ceramic beads in my truck and car tires. I prefer the ceramic beads, as they seem to work better. My car tires as perfectly smooth (ceramic beads) as are on set of truck tires (ceramic), my truck's winter tires have the equal, which has not worked quite as well. I have a slight vibration at 74mph. Keep in mind that those tires are kelly's, which never seem to stay balanced.

my real balancing problem is with the tires on my trailer, Equal has not helped there. I have been rebalancing ever month , and they are always off. Perhaps I'll try the anti freeze in them.

I have the innovative balancing beads in my 5 h2 tires, seems to work very well. 8oz in each tire.

however, I think its just sandblasting media

i worked at an elevator for a few years changing semi tires daily and we used a tech compound, it was like sand but had some metal in it, it was basicly sand but with other stuff added. i asked the rep how it worked and he said it slapped the tire on the inside to hold it down, kinda like the front of the tire would want to lift and this stuff was supposed to act like a counter to it. i didnt know what to say to it, hes a pretty smart guy and is a big "TECH" rep and is pretty smart. every time the sand came out clean though. just thought i would share my experience with the stuff. , oh and the bag for a semi tire was about 2 lbs.

Anti freeze will "Coat" the inside of the tire rather than quickly going to the light spot (Or opposite the heavy) the way that a rollable media can.

I have not tried anti-freeze although I would be a little concerned with chemical reaction. I did run golf balls in mine for 2 years a little over 200k. The results were good, tire wear good, gained about 15-20k in tire life per set, some noise at low speeds, slight vibration at high speed. Finally quit since I could not convince myself that something that big could balance in a spot where it was not there. If you leave them in too long they start to wear and go square on you. Now use centramatics, like them much better due to ease and simplicity, nothing to put in or take out of tire. The idea of sand blasting material sounds pretty good.

i dont like the antifreeze idea simply for the environmental reasons. while not a lot of liquid, a blowout can sling the stuff all over.

not a fan of centramtics simply becuase tehy cannot get the balance media close enough to the tread so its not as efficient as an internal media or even a wheel mounted stick/hammer on lead
