IT'S FULL TIME JOB KEEPING THE 24V TRUCK GOING.

If my engine ever go out a 12v will go in I guess a truck with 183k is going to be that way.

I went the opposite way. After having way too many problems w/my '98. 5,I almost didn't buy another Dodge. My new one in spite of more electronic complexity has been issue free for over three years. (Woops,dw. ) Throw in the better steering, handling, braking and quietness and it's working so far.

I agree. I was outside looking into a fuel pressure issue. I cleaned the one wire on the neg side of the battery and the contacts on the walbro. I have another walbro if needed. That will make lift pump number 7. The truck is on its way out. Getting something cheaper to drive and maintain... Jeff

Never looked back

I'm with Ol'TrailDog. I've had a 01. 5 auto, it was a disappointment. Then I bought a 02 6 speed an liked it okay. I had a 04 305 auto and while it was quieter and okay the seats were lousy compared to the second gens and I could never really get into it. I sold it and bought a 96 that only had 77000 on it and have never been happier. While I have had to do a transmission and the other normal second gen issues, check my sig, I did everything noted by myself except the TST plate. A lot cheaper running than worrying about payments. Plus it's got the body lines that the new ones gave up.
