I had the mileage/white smoke tsb done just over a month ago. I know that this subject has been beat to death but, it seems that my truck is getting more and more smoke every day. Now, i only have to park it for an hour and when I start it up, I get a blast of smoke for about a block until it clears up. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a so called fix? If not, are the boys at D/C working on a cure? Its really starting to look bad! I get looks everywhere I go, or should I say everywhere I leave! Comments or suggestions? Im taking the truck back to the dealer on Monday but, I highly doubt they will have any real fix for it. I did call a few dealers out of my area and actually talked to one fellow that said his dealership dumps a pint of 2 stroke motor oil in a full tank of fuel and that has had a good success with the smoking problem. Im not wanting to try this until the local guys get their hands on it and "try" to get it fixed. Anyone????????? :confused: :confused: :confused: :{

Are you saying you shut it down hot, and within an hour you have white smoke for a while after start up? If so, sounds like leaky injector. Sitting an hour on a warm engine should not smoke at all. White smoke is incomplete combustion (too cold/too rich), and should only be cold.
