I believe the HO VP44 on Piers website is for the ETH trucks. It is not a higher output VP44 than the two versions that are available commercially for the ETC/ETH trucks.
DD has a high output pump that they are working on. The last I heard it was being tested on various trucks and word on the street was that it was way expensive due to the machine work required. I don't think you will find anything about it on their webpage either.
Meaning, it'll cost $10k to convert a 24 valve to a P7100 pump? I think it can be done much cheaper than that. Mitchell told me he could, and I've seen one done at Enterprise. Dan Scheid also quoted me a decent price. Both were way under 5k. I'd say $5k maximum, allowing for the little B. S. incidentals that getcha every time.Originally posted by KatDiesel
