It probably saved me some extra grief, so it might be worth your consideration as well. If your car alarm is going to honk a horn, make it the AIR horn! For whatever reason, some low life didn't like the looks of my truck and thought it would look better if it were modified with a crowbar. Apparently the first application of his beautification tool was the passenger side towing mirror. Great fun! Mirror fragments EVERYWHERE!!! The fun stopped when the bar hit the driver's side mirror, and the Air Horns went off. It must have scared him enough because he jumped back against the car next to me and set off it's car alarm (butt print on car). I got off "easy" with the loss of only two towing mirrors and no other damage, but. . are you sitting down? Towing mirrors are $894. 37 installed, and I'm happy to have them! EVERYONE ignors the usual car alarm...

maybe when they went off they ****** him off so he took it out on the mirrors?? BTW I have had the same thoughts of hooking my alarm up to some air horns...

man no way don't pay that much i broke mine and got one brand new towing heated with the electronic adjust for only 150. 00 took me about 5 minutes to put it on i found a set for 250 at one time do that instead. Unless he's busted and has to pay then i would keep the estimate still get the cheap ones and bill the jerk off for the 894. 37 u can find the mirrors way cheaper then that

Saw some fire truck air horns on ebay. that ought to be loud enough :--) Also a horn for a locamotive @495 honkers

I hear ya moolie- couldn't handle the trip home with mirrors flappin in the wind, or using the "make-up mirror" for 350 miles sharing the road with NASCAR wannabes.
