I have a unique opportunity from a friend at a racing shop that is very slow at the moment. He called me up today and said, "the race shop is real slow right now. We have 5 axis CNC machines, Lathes and bored machinists doing mostly paperwork. What if we came up with an idea for something that we could crank out 50 or so units for you to sell on your site of something that the TDR guys would like?" I said I'll think about it and realized that most everything you can do in billet is available for our trucks that I can think of. Valve covers, handles, door locks, heater/AC controls, and other stuff is already out there.

The only thing I came up with was some type of cool receiver plug, but I don't want to infringe on any copyrights.

I also remember seeing a HUGE receiver ball I think TMTT was talking about in another thread. I haven't had any luck finding one, so maybe just make one??

What would you guys like to see in billet? How about a billet head with a real Jake brake!! I don't think they would have the time for that, so lets not do that one.

I've seen this race shop and it was amazing. They have all brand new stuff and they race carbon fiber Porsches. They make most of their parts including engine parts and have their own dyno. They also supply Fountain race boats with engines and recently attempted a world record. I think they pretzeled a prop shaft though. What I'm getting at is that whatever is made won't be junk.

Aluminum wheel center caps to replace the factory plastic ones.

I've always thought the grille and grille surround would be much nicer made from polished aluminum instead of plastic. (Impractical to hog that out of a block of aluminum, though).

Aluminum headlight and heater control knobs would be cool.

Hello

Have them make front and rear door still plates you know those plastic things you step on all the time fords have ones with led lights in them that light up the Ford Name cut in to them.

I will take a set for a 2004/2005 quad cab .

I'd like a replacement for the floor console piece used in the MegaCab, with some real nice cupholders that actually function around the 6-speed shifter, maybe elevated and offset so you could get to them.

Someone is making a real nice valve cover for everything but the 2006's and up, that along with covers for some of the other under hood stuff, you know, dress it up a little with matching pieces.

A 5th silver aluminum wheel that matches the four that came with the truck so I could legitimately do a 5-wheel rotation without looking like one of "those" trucks.

P. S. My 4Runner came from the factory with a matching wheel for the spare. Hmmm... maybe that kind of service is why Toyota is spanking all of the American manufaturers right now.

How 'bout a TDR logo, about 6" diameter carved out of aluminim - - think you could sell all 50 of em in a very short time

I already have your billet . 44 mag shift knob and love it, except in the winter time. But I would be game for a billet valve cover or the door sill plates.
