When I first bought my truck a member of one of the Diesel sites was selling end cap oil filter wrenches machined from billet. They fit the fleetgaurd filters and had a 3/8 drive square in the end.

I tried to purchase one but he was sold out and was not making them any more.

I have one made from plastic but it easily slips and most times you have to fight with it while trying to remove the filter.

I would be interested in one if they could be made.

I like this idea as well as the Door sill covers for the QC, they should be easy to make.

how about a raised intake plate to solve the 1-5-6 air starve issues? No one else is doing it without machining the head. PM for details.

Brethren-

I have seen a lot of good ideas on this post so I am hoping that one of them will become a real product. :) I am adding myself to the list!!!

Well, after a couple of attempts at giving ideas to my buddy, it seems that everything I suggested required too much programming for the crew. I suggested a round shift ball with the shift pattern in it and even got the "too much programming" response. I'm not sure what they would have been willing to do, but it seems like not much more than an aluminum block. Anyone need a block with holes in it to bolt to their front end for weight at a sled pull? It would be huge, but I MIGHT be able to get them to do it!:(

DCreed, you have an email and a PM from me.....

A 5th silver aluminum wheel that matches the four that came with the truck so I could legitimately do a 5-wheel rotation without looking like one of "those" trucks.

P. S. My 4Runner came from the factory with a matching wheel for the spare. Hmmm... maybe that kind of service is why Toyota is spanking all of the American manufaturers right now.

seems like hopping on ebay and buying an extra wheel for $100 or so would be a lot easier than machining one out of billet

if I could make anything out off a chunk of aluminum, it would be a cylidner head

I still want custom Lug Covers!!

I want spinners,, well, not spinners, but weighted spinners, so that the lug cover doesn't rotate with teh tire. Make sense?

A Big Fat Ram Head, or a Cummins Logo would be perfect.
