DON"T READ THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Complaining to the moderators is asking to be babysat IMO, unless there is material in the thread that is not suitable for a family website I see no reason to lock them. The war will continue within days in another thread, anyone want to bet on that? I have read quite a few of the oil threads, yes there is a lot of useless banter about nothing. Since when did progress (and who determines what is progress?) need to be present for a thread to continue?
Allowing the threads to continue will keep them in the same spot and afford the people opposed to them the courtesy of knowing at a glance that the thread is one they don't want to read. It will also keep the battlezone localized, minimizing the offshoots into other threads.
The way I see it either let it pass or boot the major players in the oil wars. Do we really want to see what will happen if people start getting booted from the board over oil arguements?
My honest opinions.
