What CFM is needed for a truck that doesn't tow?

Also the enhanser controls "line pressure rise"... not line pressure, that is regulated by the VB.

So what is the difference between manipulating line pressure, controling line pressure, and "line pressure rise"... Enquiring minds want to know... :-laf
 
I have a full ATS transmission with 5star and co pilot. Under heavy throttle it is great. however under light throttle between 15 and 40 mph it is horrible. The co pilot for some reason feels like it is time to lock the TC. Lurching bucking and driveline clanking are all results of the early lock up. it then unlocks only to try it again a few seconds later. I then shut the damn thing off and turn on tow hual to make it drivable.



Could this box play nice with the co pilot and improve my situation
 
yes it will work in conjunction with the co pilot but to me it sounds like you have your co pilot set to low put the co pilot in the middle. the gear hunting and slipping will be fixed by the dtt but if you lock up to early you will have problems.
 
There is very little change on any setting, I don't know what creates the situation where the box wants to lock upat 25 mph under light throttle. But I hear the relay click and the green light comes on
 
Quick question, where's the transmission pressure actuator so I can splice into the correct plug? The picture isn't helping me. Is it in the area of the aluminum Siemens part?

I love my truck and do not want to do anything in line of tuners (edge,smarty,etc. ), intake or exhaust mods due to reliability and warranty issues but the one thing I don't like is the transmission shift points. Will the DTT shift enhancer really make a difference or do I need to do more. I have a 2006 CTD 48RE Mega Dually with 373. I beleive if I change the shift points I would be happier and also, where do you buy their products?

I finished putting mine it last week and have had a week on it. It works great!

Completely eliminated the 1-2-1-2-2-3-2-3 shifting issues. It eliminated the third gear flair as well. It just pulls hard and smooth until 4th gear lockup. I really like it and run it in tow all the time. Now I just need a switch to hold the transmission in the current gear for four wheeling and slow crawling and traffic... .

I talked to Stefan at DTT today and he said it would NOT work on a 04. 5 because they don't have the electronic acctuator, but it sounds like a few did! How can I tell the difference?
 
There is a TSB for the 1-2-1-2 shifts. Had it fixed on mine.

I did that TSB to mine and it did nothing. I suppose it has helped others or they would not have issued it. I still have the 1-2-1-2 hunting. It is driver dependent on mine cuz if I mash the go pedal harder its all good.

The worst is on a slight incline at about 20 mph and steady throttle like winding through a subdivision and it will hunt back and forth. . very annoying.



I emailed DTT about their box a long time ago but they never responded back.



If anyone wants to do that TSB it takes 6 quarts to refill, not the 4 listed.

If you look at the transmission, on the drivers side, there is a large electric motor module bolted to the transmission body and attached to the VB. Previous models have a lever and calble hooked up here with a connection to the TPS.
