Here's my list, mostly culled from the stuff
above:

1. Decent A/C controls that allow me to select what I want, when I want it.

2. Better tire options for the 4x4.

3. Manual locking hubs.

4. Stronger throttle return spring.

5. 3. 73 gears would be great.

6. No ABS or airbags in the 4x4. (I'm convinced this is a conspiracy by the government to kill us offroaders!)

7. Tow Hooks, front & rear.

8. Legible speedo & tach increments, and a mechanical odometer.

9. Cummins ECM & Road Relay.

10. Make the Ring Light functional again.

11. A tilt front end would be the talk of all truckdom!

Oh, I forgot... the parking brake should work like those in a Toyota. In Toyotas, there is a handle to the right of the steering column that you pull out to set the brake, and twist and push in to release it. You've got to be a Chinese contortionist to reach the release handle in our Rams!

Another thing I forgot... I got the vinyl floor and vinyl seats so they would be easy to keep clean. Why do I have a soft, fuzzy headliner????

Split exhaust manifold for dual upright stacks(the cummins manifold already has a baffle in the center).

Bully air horns(or any other)

Banks style dual intake manifold.

Gotta add my two cents just in case DC decides to read. Hopefully if we hammer these issues they'll at least consider some of them.

1. Crew Cab
2. More axle ratios w/LSD options on all
3. Crew Cab
4. Aux. Trans option
5. Crew Cab
6. 3500 single rear wheel
7. Crew Cab
8. Cummins ECM
9. Crew Cab
10. Boost & Pyro gauge options
11. Crew Cab
12. No more scares of trading the Cummins for a Mercedes or something.
13. Crew Cab

That should about do it.

Everybody has to have a wish list;

o - large enough wheel wells to fit at least 35's without having to consider a body, or suspension lift.

o - A true cruise control that will set between zero and 30. Good for rock crawling, OR

o - At least a hand throttle, like the ones on tractors.

o - STD pyro and boost gauges

o - Improved headlights, as on the Sport models, and use plastic lenses.

o - Limited slip, or an ARB option for the front differential.

o - Optional front receiver

o - Optional manual locking hubs

o - Setup for 2 low.

o - Locking tailgate

o - The POWERWAGON design

DC--- You build it, I'll buy it !

I would like to see:
> 3. 73 w/LSD axle ratio
> 5 or 6 speed HD automatic transmission
> improved HAVC controls (i. e. air w/o having the fan on)
> power windows that work with the key in the accessory position
> good lumber supports in both driver and passenger seats
> boost, EGT and transmission temperature guages

After some reflection, I missed two:
> 2 speed rear axle
> auto climate control

Crew cab option
Tilt hood
Modern climate controls option (temp settings)
Passenger side window one touch down like drivers side
A cup holder that is more than an afterthought for those with a manual trans
A bulletproof OEM clutch

soundproof passenger compartment--(now if i could only find soundproof passengers to keep in there!!)--- (I seem to be the only one in the family who can hear over the happy clatter of the Mule motor)

Good Gracious Wiz! The wheelwells aren't big enough??? I am running 35" tires with no lift other than 2" spacers in the front and could still hold a 3 ring circus complete with Big Top & elephants under the fenders! To each his own, I suppose. I had to put the bigger tires on just to cover the wheelwells! Looked like I was riding on donut spares!

The wife would duel temp controls
Auto temp control with built in airfilter
E BRAKE
Two speed rearend For towing power& better
fuel mileage when running empty
More gages EGT,Boost,
A dash that will allow a CB to be installed
A power terminal to connect all the add on toys we think are needed.
Power Bucket seats.
A air vent that is not part of the a/c like
the cars had up to the 60s.
More then one colour interior.
I love my 3500 in 20000 miles no problems. We
tow a 35ft Avion which is no light weight,11 to 14 mpg with a 5 speed and a 4:10.
I love passing GM products on the hills or on the flats. If you see a 99 white 1 ton comming up on you, wave as we pass.

I like a lot of the above. Top priority:

3. 73 axle option

E-brake with auto

two speed axle option

accurate gauges and computer

dash space and electrical hookup for all the extra goodies.

of course more power and fuel economy

Auto temperature control

cup holders that don't rattle and shoot your goodies all over the place on rough roads.

how about a 6 CD changer?

Not mentioned yet and not worth more money is a built in garage door opener like many of the new cars have.

Absolute number one on my list is BETTER SERVICE. Again - BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE.

John S. '99 QC 1T 4. 11 A/T Leather Driftwood, 50 Gal aux tank/tool box, gearvendors, BD brake/autolok, BD ISB comp, guages.

Just a Little BOMBed and liking it a lot. :p
