Same on all 8 of mine, with the exception of the 90 I sold- had to get an ignition tumbler for it cause the imbecile who sold me the truck gave me a spare to the 92.

No, No, No. :rolleyes: The trend was the same- same key fit door and ignition. I think it was 8 different designs, though.

Then someone has change door locks or ignition here at some point...

If you go with a new Dodge OEM ignition switch, you can have them key it the same as your old broke ignition switch. It will be coded. I did this with my 89. If you go with a parts store chain replacement, you'll get a new key and will have to carry two keys for one truck. This is how the previous owner did my 91. 5:mad:.
 
When my ignition switch crapped out a couple of years ago I had the new switch keyed to fit the existing key by a local locksmith. Don't want to carry two keys around.
