Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I'm shopping for an MDT and IHCs are abundant! I've heard the DT466 and DT530 electronic engines are good. Do they have any weak points - fuel system, head problems, longevity, etc? How are they on MPG? Are their HP ratings at the crank or ?? Their HP ratings (275hp DT530E) sound pretty puny, unless they have some secrets! Can they be turned up - will they take it - and how is it done? I'd like to get more power than I have now, with a drivetrain that will take it. What are their 6+1 transmissions - they seem to be popular? I've had several old Binders but only class 8s. I don't know anything about their later trucks or the DT engines. Of course, the IHC salesmen tell me the DTs will outdo the B and C cummins!
