Fixin to upgrade turbos, however the choices of the 2 listed in title are quit similar in specs but still baffled as to which one to get. I'm going to be adding

modded cp3, stage 2 helix, extrude honed injectors, head studs, and high rate valve springs. which one would work best? Your input would be greatly appreciated !! Oh and have ready to install a SBDD 3850 lb. 12 puck feramic clutch.

( the bad guys cant have all the fast stuff )

dont forget extra $$ for shoes for this thing... . hehehe

i cant speak for the HTT turbo but my SPS66 has by far been the best mod i have ever done. with my injector and boxes it is very quick to spool.

all i know is that my truck and my buddies truck are set up almost the exact same except turbos and my silver bullet 66 spools alot faster than his htt62

Ditto, my buddy as the smarty and TST combo (same as mine) with a HTT 64 and my SPS 62 spools and cools better...

I have a HTT ProStreet 66 with the stainless steel 16mm housing on order so I wouldnt jump on the SB just yet till some of the guys including myself give some more feedback on the new turbos

I have run the ProStreet 66 and it seems to be a good turbo. A friend of mine has a PS 66 and for some reason he has surging issues. I know HerberRam went from a SilverBullet to a ProStreet and he loves the move.

I think the Pro Street 66 and the SPS 66 are the ones that are similar. The Silver Bullet has a 74mm turbine compared to the 71mm of the PS and SPS 66. That's just based on what I thought I read on here at various times.

It will be interesting to compare the results of the two. The SB has a larger turbine wheel, and the HTT with the stainless steel housing has a larger turbine housing. The larger turbine wheel will drive the compressor harder on the SB, but the larger turbine housing should allow a little less backpressure on the top.
