Well I got the ATS manifold in and the SPS 62 but i can't get the oil drain hooked back up. I got the whole thing hooked up and in place. The waste gate head is too large to get the stock oil drain back in place. Any help? Truck is obviously immobile untill I can get this drain situated. Truck is an 04. 5 QC 4X4 LWB DRW 6SPD.

on my 2nd gen, I found it much easier to cut the drain in two... bolt the stub to the turbo, hang the turbo, get the line in the block and connect the two w/ some rubber hose and a couple hose clamps :)

Had trouble with mine too. I dented the drain tube where the wastegate rod travels and then loosened the bolts on the drive side of torbo and rotated, (clocked) the turbo till things lined up. the tube did need a little more fine tuning with hammer and vice but, it did go together and ,I don't have a splice to worry about. good luck

when I swapped my sps62 out for a silver bullet, it took about 20 minutes... all I did was disconnect the splice in the drain, clock the SB's housing, bolt up the drain stub, and throw it right back in.

I lika de splice

Thanks guys, I did end up cutting and splicing in some heater hose. After I tore the whole assembly back out. It was physically impossible to install the drain with the turbo on the truck. Thanks for the input guy's. It is much appriciated.
