Cool! What's the new remote look like?

How's the wiring different?

Well this is my first TST box, but after seeing a number of them installed and looking at the install instructions on their site about a hundred times I dont think the Remote with Gauges for the R49 changed any. You just get different displayed information by pushing the grey button.

One thing that is different is the orange wire with the fuse tap is slit into two orange wires both with fuse taps. Guess that I will make a quick call tomorrow and ask about that. The Cool Down timer and Boost Limit additions are all programing, no additional connections.

I wonder how hard it would be to do the install in the dark?? :D. Gonna be hard to wait until Saturday.

Hooking up the TST is easy for the most part... I hope u dont have big hands cause getting to the plugs for the crank and camshaft sensors in a pain in the butt... When my injector wiring harness for the TST came apart on me on day on ly way to work. . I had to remove all the wiring harness and such at 5:30 in the morning holding a flashlight in my mouth and trying to keep from burning myself on a hot engine... Took me bout 5 min... Just take ur time and take lots of deep breaths with the crank and cam sensors... Hope u like ur TST...

I opted for the SPS62 With a 12cm WHEEL and the larger compressor housing. I will have it installed by Sat. I hope this Turbo meets our Standards I Like the People at Industrial Injection, and it would be a great to offer their Products.

Some more info on the 62's would be nice also. Anyone else with one? anyone start with 62 then upgrade to 66?

Your not kidding the cam and crank sensors are a pain, I thought the hardest part was the orange lock tabs!! Those items are one hand operations.

I went for a trip today 300mi, all freeway 75-80 mph. That was the first time I have done sustained driving at those rpm (2000-2400). I played a little passing other vehicles and WOW, the sps66 goes from 5 psi to 45-50psi right now!! 75-95mph happens quick and EGT stayed under 1325 (tst on 6hp,3tq). I have felt the 66 was little laggy from a roll but not a 75mph roll yeee hawww.

I did talk to Mark at TST today and there are instruction changes that refer to the orange wire that is split into two fuse taps. They go to different fuse blocks. That appears to be the only wiring change. It is a different wiring harness I guess. I was sent the original installation guide. Mark emailed me the correct one. Still looks like Saturday morning. I have to make a quick 200 mile round trip tonight. It will be to hot after work tomorrow. DARN.
