I may have the most posts but most are one liners. If you were to sort who has posted the most words it would have to be Power Wagon.

Doc, I see you have been replaced by someone named archive

... . only because of the importing of old archives for on-line access and search etc had an "undocumented feature", which the TDR admin have already acknowledged and will rectify imminently, apparently... . just once they've had finished their caffeine time out.....

Hey, I just realised that my post count has been decremented... . last time I checked I was more than 524 and counting ... . now it's been modified to 384 and counting... ... How do I get back the "missing posts" to get me back to where I was Mr. TDR admin..... ?? PM message also sent directly to TDR Admin Dennis!!

John, if you would be so kind as to send your post request directly to the TDR admin that would be the fastest. If you don't get the help you need there I will try to assist. Your post count is not something I have access rights to.

I doubt you'll get them back. I lost over 2000 (closer to 2500) ... it was because the old posts were replaced with archive as a user. . thats why he is the top poster now.

The important thing is we have all of the old posts back online.

while we're on the subject, my registration date (look left) is off as well. I registered Feb of 02 (or somewhere close to that. ) My member number starts with 35 if that helps. It's not a big deal and I don't wish to have it fixed, just another glitch to come from the server swap.

All you guys that are giving congrats to those two top posters, don't you realize that they just have wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to much time on they're hands! Doc & illflem need to get a couple'a lives!! :-laf :-laf :-laf :-laf :-laf

Just funin', good fer you two guys, I bet yer fingers are worn down to the nubs. ;) :p ;) :p

Later, Rob

PS, How many keyboards did you guys go through?:D

The post count is fixed as best I can now. Here's the story, after the import of all the old archived threads I had to rebuild the index (that took 28 hours, btw) then update the counters. There was a bug in the admin software that didn't count all of the posts that you had. I've fixed that bug in the software and now the number reads accurately with how many posts you currently have on the system. For example illflem now has 5192 posts listed and ToolManTimTaylor is now back to 1102 posts. It now shows the same number of posts that it will if you did a search on your name.

However, for members that were around during those archived days you will have lost some post counts (like illflem). The reason for that is that the user post count didn't not go down when those archived posts were pruned from the site so those posts were still in your count. When those posts were imported there was no practical way to link up the old posts with the current usernames so I had to import them all as Archive. Because I then had to update the post counters those posts were no longer in your count.

Sorry for the inconvenience but it's the best I could do to get the old data back.

Wooooweee - you knocked me from third or fourth to nineth. Now I get to post all kinds of crazy stuff to get my position back again :D

Doc

LOL

It looks like illfem just got booted to second place, at least in the top 10 posters list. He's been replaced by Archive, who's got 53512 posts. Beat that one illflem - LMAO

I'm sure I speak for most TDR members in acknowledging your efforts which are greatly appreciated..... is there any chance of a one-off rectification of the incorrect post counts please?
