Illinois Campout Sept. 14, 15, 16

The GLTDR (Great Lakes Turbo Diesel Registry) is planning a campout in Northern Illinois on the weekend of Sept. 14-16. The campground initially selected is outdoor world in Belvidere, IL.

I am working on a discounted rate, probably $20. 00 per night.

This is a very nice family campground.



On Saturday the Rockford Speedway is having a big event with monster trucks, etc.

May be bringing a tent to sleep in. Or maybe I can get my buddy Brent to let me bring his camper again. We'll see. But for sure, I'll be there.

There has not been a lot of action on this so I let it slide a little. Right now they are pretty busy on the holiday weekend. I will post on Tuesday whether this is the best place or not.
