What Kind of engine dyno is closest to right?

I'm HOPING to be doing a dyno run next week. I've never been on a dyno before and have no idea of what to do/what to expect. How does the process work? Do I operate the truck, or does somebody from the shop? Is there any point in paying to make three runs, or will I have accurate HP/torque numbers after doing only one or two runs? Any pointers from you seasoned dyno-ers are appreciated.

They should get the truck strapped down, then make several pulls from ~1400rpm or so, up to redline in 5th gear. Make as many runs as is required to get overlapping (consistent) results for two runs in a row.

I have only been on a dyno once, but it is pretty simple. I think some places will drive for you, but most of the time you drive yourself. From what I have experienced three runs are included in the price. Have fun! I was all :D :D .
