Need advice on 1st Dodge

Just bought my second Ram. My first was a brand new '98 12 valve 2500 4x4 Laramie (Should have kept that one). Sold it and bought a BMW convertible. Then went to a Corvette Z06. After recently totaling the Vette, I am back with a 2005 Laramie 3500 4x4 Dually with only 41,000 miles. Lots of great options like leather, sunroof, box liner, etc. I looked for about 6 months and was prepared to travel long distance to get the right truck. I found this truck 5 minutes from my home on Craigslist. Original owner and completely original except for new tires. I wanted a dually to haul a 5th wheel as I am retired and plan on spending winters in the Arizona desert. I think I got a deal on this truck at $27,700. Love the TDR for all its help and info on my truck.

Welcome back to Dodge Cummins ownership and TDR. It sounds like you found yourself a very nice truck at a great price. I'm sorry to hear of your Vette accident. As a long time Corvette owner, I can imagine how upsetting it was to have that accident with your Z06.

do explain the accident... to much peddle or someone else caused it... . ?????

Felt like the traction control failed or something broke in the stearing linkage. All I know is the car made an abrupt right turn into a concrete barrier. Luckily no other cars involved and I just ended up with a sprained wrist as the steering wheel jerked hard. My need for speed in cured.

Sounds like a nice truck!! Keep an eye on the u-joints, they seem to go out around 40,000 for a lot of people, including myself. Enjoy the ride!!!
