I just signed the papers on an 06 2500 quad cab Laramie 4x4 today, I'm keeping the 01 as a play toy and pulling truck and technically the 06 is the wifes..... :D You guys are going to have to teach me about this new stuff, I don't really plan on modifying things but the Smarty has my interest. What do I need to do with this truck? It has an auto and a bunch of cool gadgets. I'll be hanging out around the slums (3rd Gen Forums) :-laf a bit more I guess.

If you're gonna run the higher levels, you're gonna need intake and exhaust.

These things get hot real fast. I'm talking 1500*--1600* quicker than you can say " I don't plan on modifying things" :-laf

Yea how many times has that been used to get a new truck:D

Congrats man!! Id say an intake, exhaust(alreay have 4" so maybe a muffler delete), a good TC and a VB and gauges and the smarty and ud have a pritty fun ride!! Have fun! :D

Picked the truck up today with 66 miles on it, just took my son for a ride and he asked me if it was as fast as mine, of course to him that means can it do a burn out. So with 104 miles on the odometer it has done it's first power braking little burnout, ssshhhh, don't tell the wife :-laf I can't get the homelink thing to work on my garage door openers, anyone got any hints?

Do the extra crap for the rolling code door openers. Ya usually gotta hold a button on your opener while someone in the truck does the program thing. I have an ancient door opener, so it programed the easy way. One advantage to the crappy older ones. (Sounds like its diesel powered, too. )

Congrats on the new ride, BTW. They mod real easy!

Thought I'd do some updating and add a few pictures of the new ride, sorry but it's dark out so here they are. I put on Luverne Mega Step running boards and factory Power Wagon flares.
