Check out your sending unit on top of fuel tank. I see you live in PA and with all the snow we been having the road salt could have rusted out the supply line on your sending unit. I had the return line rust last year. I have a 98. 5 and the original sending unit was metal. The new replacement sending unit is plastic. I don't know if they put the plastic in your truck or not. Metal one was $285 and plastic was $400. You could be pulling the air in there if it is rusted.
