I think this is part of the problem Amsoil INC has brought on themselves.
People thinking they are bypassing the dealer ordering over the internet.
Well, you're not. A dealer somewhere is getting credited for your order. Thats ok, but what hurts, is you have no personal dealer support, all you have is some phone or e-mail jockey getting $6 an hour who could care less about how well you are taken care of.
Amsoil was built on customer support, from the dealers taking personal care of their accounts and customers.
Mass Internet sales are undermining that. This thread is a perfect example.
As far as getting the product at dealer cost, any Amsoil dealer should do his best to get it to you at the lowest cost possible, whether it takes signing an account as a retail, commercial, preffered customer, or Wholesale Dealer.
Paying retail is not necessary.
But, these engines will run on about anything, so buy your other choice at Wal Mart if that makes you feel better.
