I'm going to Vancouver, to see Piers and Bill what to do?

I am going to Vancouver the old truck is sold and it is official. What engine mods are most worth doing? Right now I have a plate that was installed by Ken Jones in Ogden Utah which he said is worth about 250 hp, a boost elbow, and guages (pyro, boost and trany temp). The things that I am considering are 4" exhaust, govener springs, 370 fire hoses, a valet switch, and mabey a new turbo. I want to get a good start on the bombing and keep the feul milage up. What mods do you consider the best? I have a 21' TT and with that and some bikes I am at 13,000# and I would love to put some hurt on the rice burners at the races. I am going to get the trans completely done with a 91% tc thrown in. Thank you all very much for your help.

Add to that

-- a Katless EGT/Sound improvement system

-- an air filter setup of your choice

-- Maybe need a 14/16 housing to help with the EGT's.



Definately go with the new turbo. Will help with the lowend smoke, spool up that 91% TC real nice, lower EGT's, etc. This is a must have.



Keeping with the 250 plate, this should be a very nice setup for a 12v. 325-350 rwhp range. Good bottom end, nice power band, not too bad on the smoke, and prolly OK on the egt's. And not abuse the TC too much. Overall a good mid BOMB package, and Piers will dial it all in real nice.



Then when you get the itch, you can throw in a new plate, and a 4000rpm gov kit and a set of twins, and the rest will be there.

Aaaarg. Only two days until I leave and only one responce. I am going to need about 40 more before I will feel like I know what I am doing, please help. Actually, you are going to see two of the best and they will give very good advise. Let them know what you want and will be doing with the truck and they will fix you up accordingly.

Walk up to Piers and Bill, hand them your wallet and tell them to go to work.

They will NOT steer you wrong, but they WILL empty your wallet



Just talk to them about your budget and what they think would give you the most hp for the dollar.

S. Campbell is right if you can't get what you want and maybe even more than you think you want from those two (Piers/Bill) then something is wrong. They are the best in the buisness !

Just tell them what you want and let them go you'll be impressed!
