Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) I'm having trouble installing EZ on my 2002...

first off, I have searched like crazy and haven't been able to fix my problem. I have recently purchased an EZ off Ebay, and the back of the box says it is a 2002 model. So I go to look for the data link and i cannot find it! i have a plug in on the front (towards grill) of my fuel filter that has a green grommet around it that is roughly the same size, but even trying that plug in didn't work. Going by the directions the plug in should be behind the fuel pump (towards firewall), but I don't see anything there. Any help?

Hey, first confirm the part number is correct for your truck as "98. 5-00", "01", and "02" were all slightly different, some of the map senser plugs differ. Look for the data link wire and the map senser plug just aft of the fuel filter housing. Take a look at the Edge Products websight for installation instructions. Good luck and use the Force wisely.....

The datalink connector is down pretty low... it's in front of the fuel filter, but also down below it. It's a bit of a reach to hook it up. It'll have a 3-pin weatherpak connector in it already, just like the EZ has, acting as a cap to keep it free of debris. Remove this and plug in your EZ:

For the map sensor, don't forget the little red sliding lock on it. Once you get that open then you can squeeze the release lever and remove the map connector.
