Just picked up a 97 today Very happy with it. I enjoy driving it more than my 03 but thats probably because of the auto. That leads my to my next question... I was thinking of a #10 plate, 3k GSK and 370's. Does this sound about right? The auto is freshly rebuilt, but will it survive at all with these basic mods? Also, I don't think the previous owner ever tackled the KDP. About how long does it take to do the fix with a kit like TST's?

that seems like a pretty good all around upgrade for our 12 valves. you might want some sort of BHAF and/or bigger turbine housing so your egt's dont get out of hand.

Auto transmission will not hold up to the #10 plate slid very much let alone that and injectors. Upgrade the transmission first then go for more hp's.



While your waiting for the transmission you can slid the stock plate all the wy forward for more power.

I sure hope you did not buy the '97 3500 I was looking to purchase!!!! Was it white?

why yes it is white. I found it in the enquirer i will bring it to our next chicken wing get together lol
