Enough of this lookie loo stuff! As of today, my order is in for the truck in the sig. Somebody, please tell the Cummins Fairy that I've been good and I'm worthy. Lie if you have to!

Did the 1% under invoice deal locally -- I need a CA labeled truck. Will have to wait and see what happens with rebates.

Thanks for all the great info and posts here to help me make a good decision.

B

p. s. Adjustable pedals still restricted. Had the boss (Mrs. B. ) check them out locally and it was no big deal for her either way.

Welcome to the waiting game, it took 12 weeks to get my 04. 5. I was forced to go out of state due to the Peoples Republic dealers refusing to deal.

Good luck

Count me in also, just placed an order for an '05 3500 Laramie SWB, SRW, 2WD, LSD, AT w/3. 73 in Bright White w/Taupe leather interior. Dealer said to expect 6 weeks or less.

Adjustable pedals were on restriction, but when I called DC customer service, they indicated they were not on restriction for the Diesel trucks?? Either way, the truck will fit my wife, when she gets the chance to drive it.

BBenson,

Congratulations. I wanted to place an order but the good speakers were on restriction in addition to the pedals so I decided to wait another month.

Where did you get your deal?

Congrats! You'll love it, I know I love mine. . Im also very glad the one I loved was on the lot, I don't know if I could handle waiting for delivery!

My dealer said Infinity spkrs where on restriction with the Laramie J pkg, but for some reason they showed up as included and available on a straightforward stereo upgrade on an SLT. Go figure. We'll see what shows up.

My dealer is Magnussen's in Auburn, CA. Fleet department. The 1% under deal is through the DC Affiliate Rewards program which I am eligible for through my employer. If you qualify, your supposed to be able to do an Affiliate Rewards deal through any DC dealer. But I encountered a few who really didn't want my business.

I was told the Infinity speakers were also on hold. That may have been lifted since I last talked to the dealer.

BBenson,

What is the DC Affiliate Rewards program? How do you qualify?

John...

DC Affiliate Rewards is a program extended to employees of certain large companies. If you work for a small company, unfortunately it is probably not available to you. I suspect that dealers get some money back from DC Corporate to do these 1% under deals.

I've heard of a similar "Family and Friends" type program for employees and qualifying persons who are associated more directly with DC. I have the impression that program is even better than Affiliate Rewards.

The good news is there are even better deals reported here in the TDR. There's Tomeygun who is 3% under invoice. And several others have negotiated $8-10k under MSRP (accounting for rebates). Not bad if you can make that kind of deal.
