Attention: TDR Forum Junkies i think the duramax is going to be the fastest diesel on the market in short order.
think about that fuel with a larger turbo and injetors and nitro. wow
these trucks are not reliable at this point, but will be after they make some design changes to the head, injectors and fuel filtration which is due out mid 04. i will imagine that these improvements will hinder performance a little. thier fuel filtration is killing them so they will probably choke the fuel down to filter it better. thus ending the incredible fuel flow rates that are easily acheivable today in stock config.
duramax's are light, and cheap to bomb, that is why they are going to be handing cummins some losses at many redlights around the country. that is until the same cummins has to stop and give the duramax owner a ride to a telephone so they can call a wrecker to pick thier truck up from blowing up.
