Anybody else have a truck that is identical to yours? Theres a guy at work that has an identicle one to mine. Same color silver,4x4,reg cab, diesel.
Then theres a guy here in town who bought my 94 in 97 wich was silver also,4x4,reg cab, diesel. Only difference was that one was on auto transmission. I got the 5spd now.
I was funny no even noticed that I got a different truck since they both were silver.

Jeff, I'll bet my 2500 is identical to yours if you mean Driftwood instead of silver. Some people call Driftwood gold, but I never saw it that way. Seems like a lot of '94-'95s are identical, I think there were less than ten colors available back then, maybe even less.

You ever go over to farts.com?

When I bought my '97 from Dave Smith Motors, their van driver picked me up from the Spokane airport. En route, we stopped at the Amtrak station to pick up a retired couple from Oregon who were also picking up their new truck. I got to talking to the wife (the husband was sleeping), and I told her a bit about my truck and asked about theirs. It turned out, they were buying the same truck, a 2500 Club Cab 4X4, and they had also ordered it in the same two-tone Brilliant Blue Metallic w/Driftwood center band paint job that I ordered! I left Dave Smith and headed west on I-90, and I stopped to take a nap in a rest area, because I had been up all night. As I was backing out of my parking space in the rest area, they pulled in and parked next to me. We gave each other a wave, and I was on my way.
I rarely saw a blue w/driftwood center band truck when I lived in L. A. , but I've seen quite a few here in the Seattle area.

At work, a new kid transferred in from Denver. He was assigned to my crew for training. As we got to know each other a bit, found out he owns a red 99 cummins dually.

I think his training will go very well!

Those of you that are contemplating buying a truck from a dealer far away because your local dealer won't work with you, ask the far away dealer about a "courtesy delivery". It is the ultimate "frost". It only works on ordered units and you then can have it delivered to a dealer close to you. The cost generally ranges from $150 to $300. Sometime that is a lot cheaper than going after it. FYI. Of course, there is no price on the joy of driving the new one home... ... ... .

Sometimes I see more than triplets. White, 3500 club cab. I've even seen 4 or so with the black brush guard and bumper. They are real common down here. Now I've got the wife convinced that I need to get some silver flames for the front. You know, so it will stand out more. #ad

A landscaper has one identical to mine, except he changed the grill work.
There is at least a few that are club cabs, that are identical other than mine is a quad. (and the older style mirrors)
I'd bet they all have the auto trans though... #ad

Illflem,
To understand why some people call the driftwood color gold, you have to live where the sun shines on a fairly regular basis. #ad

Phil, you are mistaking the Eastern WA desert for the wet Westside of WA, a common mistake. We get 300+ days of sunshine in E. WA. I can see the gold in Driftwood, but still see more silver.

Crap, I haven't seen any like my club cab yet. #ad

That's why I got Amber-Fire. I have only seen two other rams this color and neither was a diesel. With what I heard last week, I guess I wont see any more since DC canned the color at the beginning of the year.
