I'm set to BOMB! Injectors + ?

Well guy's, I'm almost ready to "BOMB" my beast #ad
I am putting a check in the mail for 275hp injectors today.

I would like to wring out every ounce of power the 275hp injectors will provide. Is a "boost modulator" a different device than a "wastegate elbow"? Are either of these devices required to fully benefit from the injectors? Any other suggestions?

I probably look like a rabid dog right now; I sure hope the injectors come in by friday!

243, be aware the 275 injectors will only provide you a modest performance improvement. This weekend a guy told me he noticed almost no improvement from this mod. You may be in the market for a box soon as a result.

This is a little off topic but... #ad
I took my ram in to get the lift pump replaced last week and at the same time I wanted the dealer to check my computer. I needed the computer checked because the rpm guage went to zero and the check engine light came on. Well... . the mech decided to do the pump first and check the computer later. . Guess what? He disconnected the batteries to change the lift pump and erased all codes in the computer. #ad
I just happened to file this information away for future reference. #ad

The first time i tripped a code. I tried to unhook the batterys for 10min. I still had the code. I tried 30min,same thang. So i left it unhooked for two hours,no more code.

The battery trick works good,but you have to let it sit for a hour or two.

Well I have set about 30 (P 1693) trouble codes. Where can I find out what that code is? Does anybody have a book of all the trouble codes?

Nowell's right, the 275's will give only a slight power gain, if at all. I have seen a 2001 ETH truck with 275's dyno at only 227 HP. Torque was in the 550 range though. Interestingly, my stock ETH dynoed at 234 HP, 7 horses higher than the 275-equipped truck.

The injectors went in, added a PE, pulled the injectors, added an EZedge to see how quick I could roast the clutch... easy answer, as fast as you let the clutch out in any gear but first.

You're being given good advice on this thread. My factory horsepower rating was 20 less than yours because mine is an automatic. As a result, when I put 275s and the PS module with elbow, the new power was subtle, but quite noticeable. And, I like it because transmission mods aren't in my immediate future. Since you already have 20 more Hp than I had and IMHO, the 275s alone will not do much and the module will help, but that combo will not really 'do the trick'.
Just bite the bullet and get a 'box'. #ad
