Yes, I really like the Atlantic Blue as well but the 3500's don't come in Atlantic anymore... only Patriot Blue & neither in the sport. The sport only comes white, black, silver & red.

That is the question... I agonized over this too when I was ordering.



Lots depends on your color... some colors look much better in sport than others. I liked the graphite, but I thought it was an ugly truck in sport. I also knew I didn't want a painted bumper, cuz only one thing is going to happen to that. I also preferred to have color matched moulding on the side rather than chrome. BUT... I really am not too big on chrome. I'm happy with what I ended up with.



I ordered the non-sport laramie, debadged, and changed the front grill and sold the OEM grill on ebay for 165. I still wish the side moulding was color matched, but I'm ok with what I ended up with. It really comes down to preference, just so long as when you're walking into the store and look back over your shoulder, you like what you see.

I've had 3 CTD's, this is the first sport and I love it, doesn't look as "cluttered" to me. I would do it again.

I like a little chrome

I like the looks of some of the sport packages, especially the darker blue, but I still went with the chrome. I have toned down the chrome some.

I like the sport look. My '04 is the third one I've had (all three flame red). Between the '96 & '03, I had a 98. 5 that was a non-sport in burgundy red. Nice truck, but I like the sport version better.

I originally was going to buy a red sport dually so that it matched my other cars when I was towing them. But, I saw a black sport dually on the lot and it just looked so ****** off that I loved it. There was a black one with chrome sitting right next to it, and the Sport one just looked MEAN compared to the chrome one. I bought the evil one

Personaly I love the look of chrome. It can get out of hand but IMO I think it sets the truck off. It's also easier to get the bugs off of. Here is my truck but I have added some more chrome goodies since I took this picture...

Sport Package

Just remember that the common plows and push guards don't fit on the sports. They need to be made for the sport.

The truck I bought last week was a sport and I didn't want a sport. I didn't like it very much andin fact I made the dealer take off $400 for the fact that I didn't want it. However, it has grown on me. It looks like a bad ass truck. I think I like the sport as well as the chrome now. However, the sport only looks cool when its clean and chrome looks better when they are dirty. IMHO

I really like the looks of the white sports. My uncle has one and it look tough and cool all at the same time. If anyone has a silver sport bumper and grill and wants to swap for chrome, let me know.

I vote for Sport. I felt that with a white truck and a white, windowless cap, the truck would look like it belonged to the phone company if it had chrome. I also debadged the doors - don't care for the type font. This is really a personal choice. At least we have one, every Ford and GM I see has a chrome front bumper.

Depends, if you keep the truck stock looking on the outside, the sport definitely looks sharper.

If you add any after market chrome (toolbox, nerf bars, etc... ) it doesn't look right.

Getting ready to pull the trigger, had a white truck for 8yrs--figured that was the way to go,( and never thought I would go black) less dirt, damn I live on a dirt road!!

But I just stopped by the Dodge dealer to take another peak after reading this thread, and I was NOT going to order the SPORT package---BUT after looking at that totaly blacked out dually, with the sport package--man what an intimadator!!!!

I agree with KC, 03 Laramie is my choice! I put the 03 laramie grille on my 03 SLT.
