I'm thinking about bidding on a truck at an auction

Would a 93 W350 gas powerd truck have the same 5-speed as the diesel? This truck has a nice body but is listed as parts only with 47,000 miles.

The truck most likely has a NV4500 - best I can tell from the FSM, the only manual transmissions used for that year were the NV4500 and Getrag.



The NV4500 is a popular swap, but I think there are differences between the gas and diesel versions.

Gas light duty nv4500 only, not getrag or diesel nv4500.
