Beautiful weather. There was a little haze coming from somewhere that kept it from being too bright out. I heard that Adam W was top with Stomp second and I think The Kid Fan was 3rd. There was a yellow VW Rabbit pickup that turned alot of heads when he smoked out the parking lot. :-laf Well, he gave it a shot anyway. Brad Ponci gave a "How to retorque your head in the parking lot in under 20 minutes" demonstration. Fun stuff, good people.

I am not sure where Brad placed, someone said mid 500's on hp. Sorry Gary, I left early and don't recall all the numbers. I left just before Adam W. and I heard he was 630-640.

I wouldn't have been anywhere near THAT lofty bunch - but my latest exhaust and injector upgrades SHOULD put me slightly over the 400 HP mark.



Sure wish I coulda been there again with you guys - maybe we can schedule a visit down there with our daughter and friends to coincide with a later dyno get-together...

I don't even know where to start! I guess first sorry I wasn't more active on here in the week or so before the event but as posted earlier my old puter finally had it, the family and I got home today and I can proudly say the new Dell is much nicer .

Now on to the real good stuff I been a custumer and friend of Ken's for about 7+ years now, 5 years of dyno events this was the 2nd annual Spring event so the 6th or 7th overall and I must say this was THE BEST event yet! I know Ken, his crew, and myself, was and is very thankfull to all who showed both to watch and to dyno. We even had people from Oregon and Nevada come to spend the day soakin' up some diesel .

We will have all the final results up in the next few days untill then I will post my results and let those who want to post theres' do so. I will say I had hopes of a tad bit more but I am very happy to break the 600 mark. I will also add, a good buddy of mine was certainly the star of the event!

Mine were as follows

Diesel only: 573. 7 HP

1118. 9 TQ

With H2O/Meth: 602. 7 HP

1139. 0 TQ

Yea, we've gotten a few more things handled since the last time we saw each other! That would've been the second GREAT suprise for ole' Jeff, Big Bad Brad Ponci and his wife Dana made the trip down with Stomper, Angela and friends after Brad had been telling me "nope sorry bud not gonna be able to make it" worst part was I think I'm the ONLY one that didn't know he was comin'. I'll let ya know but look back for the Oct. date! take care

My hats are off to everybody that made the event happen. I must say it was a very well organized event. The weather was beutiful and the people were great. It was real nice to see my buds first gen set two records. However i didn't have a very good day. First off the head gasket started to push out at the left side just behind the pump. (odd spot) The second thing was my cold pipe blew off. The third problem was a fueling issue. And to top it all off a bird crapped on my shirt. But let me tell you guys that Imlers, Jeff and family made the trip worth every moment. I thought that was all the bad luck i am going to have on this trip, but no! Then i started to have trans issues right in the middle of stop and go traffic. I will be back in October with all issues hopfully resolved and ready to rock.

I had a blast Oo. I would also like to thank Ken Imler & Jeff "from Dixon" (inside joke) for putting on one heck of an event. I will be coming back and I hope to bring some more hp with me.



I really didn't think I was going to do that good, but as they say the numbers don't lie. :-laf I would like to congratulate Adam Winslett for putting a beating on me. I will be aiming for you though. :-laf That darn laughing gas sure does work doesn't it.

Not to hijack the thread, but since you're watching... Stomp, see if you can find the May 2005 (issue 189) of Drive! magazine. Remember the camera at Concord? Here's the (not pretty) pics. A buddy of mine happened upon this. He got it free at CarQuest or Napa...

If you can't find it, let me know. I'll find some more and send it to ya (Adam W will need a copy, his mug is all over the pages!)

Adam thought that he had a copy in his pickup, but he could not find one he must have left it at home. I know that I was supposed to be in it, but have yet to see it. I will see if I can round one up somewhere. Thanks for the heads up. If you could send me one that would be great. I will send you a PM.
