Importing a Toyota Hilux diesel?

Anybody know how to import a Hilux diesel? They have the D4D engine----a 3. 0 four I think?

them things are common here and i was thinking the same thing. the way i was explained it is that they will be caught up in customs due to the vehicle not meeting american standards. things like the glass, speedo, vehicle crash stuff..... its a pain. its doable though i am sure but you will have to bring it up to meet our standards.



they have these nissan patrols and defenders, or the toyota land cruisers for that matter all diesel powered. i see everday at the gate. cool rigs

Awile back i was watching that Australian crockadile show i cant remember the name of the show?. Anyway he was driving a little diesel powerd Toyota it was kind of cool he had a flat bed on it.
