I kept my EGT gauge but left the probe . I think I readed some where that my new truck will have the elbow all ready to connect to the gauge . Can any body confirm that. Gary

How about an update on the truck?

I'm over 28,000 miles and really nothing to report. It is doing just like it is supposed to. Mileage is between 10 & 11, just a hair less than my 03, but this one weighs 1300 lbs. more, has 4. 10 gears vs 3. 73, and a automatic transmission vs a stick. Like I said, it does just what I want, a good dependable workhorse.

EB,

Thanks for the update. I was thinking about you a few days ago and started to post a question to you asking how your new C & C was doing. As far as I know yours is the first on the TDR and the first to be a daily working truck. Yours will accumulate more working miles faster than anyone else and will be a good yardstick to measure by. Your reply is pretty boring but good news. "Nothing to report" and "a good dependable workhorse" is exactly what Dodge intended.

Several times in this 6. 7 section I have seen reference to EGT sensors already on the exhaust used to monitor all the new emissions equipment. I would be suprised if the tuners did not figure out how to pull those parameters from the computer through OBD port and display them in some appealing way on the dash or in the A-pillar.
