I've seen and researched the afe and k&n kits but I'm not certain I want to go with this choice. Fine kits indeed but I'm looking for a free flow open filter with the durability of paper.

I've seen a couple of references on other boards to a kit from TYMAR. It's in use on the Stroke's and uses a common Donaldson B085011 filter.

Have any of you heard of a TYMAR kit for our 24v's?

asked to soon...

Ok... so i just figured it out BHAF (big honken air filter). That's what I'm looking for. Found several posts on the topic.

Unless money is your main reason for going with the BHAF, it has been proven to flow less air than the AFE. And AFE's Proguard 7 filters provide the same OEM level of filtering while flowing much more air.

Is there test data to back that up? On the AFE homepage?
