Anyone know where I can find one of these? It has to be 2000 or newer. I've tried all the used parts dlrs. around here. They are $105. 00 new, just trying to save a little$$. Thanks,

Larry

If you have a sliding rear window they dont dim as well as without due to the vertical window frame in the middle right in line with the mirror. I almost took mine off and replaced it with a manual mirror it was so poor but sold the truck instead.

I can buy it from my dlr. for the same price as mopar4less, in fact 1. 00 cheaper. Thanks guys, I'll keep trying the salvage yards.

I'll trade you mine for a set of powered trailer tow mirrors :D :D

Truck rear window, front and rear cap glass all tinted.....

dimming mirror + sliding rear N.G.

Great example of DC engineering. Sliding window plus dimming mirror = no good due to the shadow striking the sensor in the mirror.....

Not a total waste as I used the power cord to power my windshield LED strobe for emergency response... .

I don't have the rear slider and I still have one heck of a time keeping the mirror working right. Keeping the window clean enough for the dimming to work right is hard to do for me. It is super nice when it works, but is really irritating when it does not because the window is a little dusty or rain spotted.

I was going to tell you something, but everybody beat me to it.

"Don't waist your money, Its a POS. Wish I had a "manual" version.

My auto dimmer works perfect even with a rear slider, tinted front slider and tinted rear window on the canopy but it's a '95, they don't make 'em like they used to I guess.

Mine works great with the slider. Try positioning the mirror as far towards the left as you can and still see correctly. Maybe the problems have to do with your height and the way your sitting.

There's a button on the bottom of the mirror, when it is pushed up, a light comes on to tell you its on. If you have a topper on, your probably not getting enough light to make it function.
