2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission In need of front attachment point.

I am looking for some type of front attachment point for my 2002 2500 4x4. I am thinking that a front reciever hitch would be best but I have a slight problem. I have a brush guard that has an approx. 2" bar running directly under the front liscense plate mount. Because of money, replacing the brush guard with something better is out of the question. I was wondering if there is anything that would either hang below the bar on the brush guard or fit above it between the bumper and then move the liscense plate. Why not just weld a receiver on to the front end guard?

Thanks guys, I don't think the brush guard would be quite strong enough and and I am not sure if the one from JCWhitney would fit. Maybe I will check some local shops and see what the have if I can test fit anything. Thanks again.
