Hello Fellow TDR'ers!
Last month I had High Output Injectors and a recalibrated Bosch VE pump installed by Ted and the fine folks at JRE! While spending the day with Ted, he mentioned that my truck will respond nicely to the pump & injectors with my current 14cm2 housing but that I should try a 12cm2 housing to see the difference on a First Generation D/C.
I know this has been discussed in depth on the TDR but I'm wishing to experiment with the 12cm2 housing to understand the difference. I'm even willing to squeeze my exhaust through an 1. 5" exit to experience any differences first hand. Many of the things Ted mentioned made sense for a VE injector pump equipped Old Dodge. My girlfriend drives an almost identically modified (by JRE) '92 W250 with a 16cm2 housing compared to my '92 W250 with a 14cm2 wastegated housing. I enjoy the trottle response & off idle torque in mine much better than her 16cm2 housing.
Does anyone out there in TDR-land have an 12cm2 that they might of taken off when they installed a 16cm2? One with the wastegate set at 30+ PSI would be perfect!
How about it Joe Donnelly, could you just pick me out the prettiest one you have from the top of the 12cm2 heap and make me a great deal on it!?
Anyone that's will to help out please reply or email to set up payment & shipping. Thank you in advance!..... Keeno
