Hey Guys,

Just read alot of threads on this but want a firm answer. My dealer just replaced my vp44 on my '02 under warranty, but said my lift pump was fine. My warranty is up on Sept 9th. I think the lift pump has a intermintant problem and am not sure if they will justify the lift pump replacement. I am very concerned about driving my truck at this time as I do not want to damage the new vp44. I do not have any gauges at this point.

Should I have them put the '' in the tank pump'' on or bite the bullet and install a FASS?

I would really appreciate any comments you all have.

John

I installed a fass on my truck a few months ago. My 2 cents... get the fass. A little over 400 bucks, an afternoon with a buddy and you can just about forget about fuel pressure problems. I would still recomend getting a guage though.
