2006 7 pin trailer plug/light question

Jake brake vaccum pump gone bad. REPLACEMENT FROM CUMMINS

I'm not really pleased with the $2500 in incentives on Cummins-powered Ram 3500s right now. Just not getting me where I want my payment to be.

Does anyone have any figures for auto manufacturers' typical incentive amounts for each month? I've gotten a pretty good quote, but need another $40 a month off the payment before I want to bite. I'm a bit worried about losing out on current incentives, but another 4-5 months of saving are realistically what I need if incentives don't improve.

Best i can tell December comes with the current Free Fuel rebate.

From what I can tell (don't take my words on it, research it) this free fuel rebate includes a credit card worth something like $2366, plus a 5 year 60K powertrain warrantee (no deductable) plus a 2 year free mant (only A schedule). You can not use the $2366 as a down payment. You will get the card 4-6 weeks after your purchase. you can use the card anywhere Visa is accepted (don't have to be for fuel)

Everybody I have talked to says they will add some cash rebate in December that has a value simular to the Free fuel rebate. I have looked everywhere find a trend of rebates offered at different times of previous years but struck out.

This sound good, I am looking pretty hard for an 06 myself.

Okie-Go, you're a neighbor of mine... my home of record is Dickinson, TX.

I'm needing about another $2500 in incentives off purchase price to make an '06 worth my while. I just ran the numbers last night and unfortunately, with current incentives, that '06 3500 is out of our comfortable reach right now. Gonna have to wait and see, I guess.

I found one in Hempstead last night. It did not have the light group or the fold flat storage. Other than that I could prolly live with it. I think I will wait and get exactly what I want. I teach in Dickinson just off of 45.

Looks like December brings $1500 on Megacab, and $2000 on Reg and QC's. Or you can pick the "miles of freedom" plan.

The Miles of freedom is actualy a better deal by around $400. 00 more in cash plus the warrantee and mant, but you can't use the $2400 gas card as a down payment. Wonder if I could get both the rebate and files of freedom :-laf

Woohoo! Dodge sales down!!!

That's less of an incentive that the $1500 plus $1000 they offered last month...

Dangit. Guess I'll not be custom ordering a Dodge after all... . gonna have to fish one at the end of the year when they HAVE to sell...

Although... their sales for November fell 7%. Maybe this will encourage DC to offer some better incentives soon. Aggravating to be SO close to ready to order, but so far away (just about $50/month over my comfort level for a payment when incentives were $2500 last month). Grrrrr.....

Also join a farm burough. cost me $70. 00. If your a member for 30 days you qualify for an additional $500. 00 rebate.

If you know you are going to buy one after 30 days (or order one) its worth the $430 return.

What''s the catch?

There's got to be a catch somewhere. I'm not a farmer... can I join the farm bureau? I certainly DO have an interest in agriculture and preserving ag business... not sure if that necessarily qualifies me for membership.

When they ask me how much acreage I own, I can only tell them my front and back yard... . :)

Farm Bureau is an insurance company.

Now they have $1500 on the Mega cabs and what ended yesterday was $1000 plus $1000 bonus cash. Did that make it $2000 total or what is "Bonus Cash"? Also I received a $500 coupon for the Mega Cab but had to take retail delivery by 11-30----My dearler did say he would honor that coupon so we will see. My salesman said mine shipped last week.

Do you know anyone who works for Chrylser? My Dad is retired from Chrysler and he gets "Green slips" and he can give to family and friends. Just a thought. -Jason

You have to join your local state's member of American Farm Bureau Federation. I live in PA, so I joined the PA Farm Bureau. There not an insurance co (but mine did come with some free death and dismemberment ins!)

Here is the link to the Dodge page that explains the additional rebate.

I am not a farmer but I live in rural PA and most of my neighbors are farmers. Go to the top website link, on the LS is a link to state farm bureaus.

You don't have to buy insurance from Farm Bureau, to get the $500 rebate. Only become a member.

The rate to become a member must be different, in other states. It is only $35 here in Iowa.

It is worth the membership fee.

Yes, Farm Bureau Insurance Company. Buy a new Dodge, and have insurance with them and you get $500 off. Not the Texas Farm Bureau.

They insure my house and my new Dodge and thats how I got the $500 discount.

Yeah, I think folks are talking 2 different things. It is the Farm Bureau organization... the insurance is some separate deal.

I am a member of the farm bureau and it is Country Insurance------To get their rates I have to be a member and it is $20 annually for an associate membership.
