Whose external Wastegate?

I am going to buy an inch/lb torque wrench so I can adjust the bands on my trans. My question is how much should I expect to spend and on what type, clicker, etc? I know buying the best would answer my question but for as little use as the tool would get I would like to get something accurate but not break the bank. Any specific models or brands recommended?

craftsman is good.

I calibrate these things at work, we mostly have snap-on, CDI, and mac that the flight facilities use. The rest of the units are a hodge podge of different makers but mostly CDI. 99% remain within spec for a good long time and only occasionaly do I run across one that is bad. what causes most of the failures is either the user not zeroing out the click type once they are done, droping it, or shock loading which breaks the ratchet teeth.

the smallest ones I do are 80in-oz and the largest ones are 1200 ft-lb I used to do 2500 ft-lb but no need to put that much torque on the Jesus nut.

anyway, you could get one from sears that will do the job well, or one from home depot, lowes, the snap-on truck, Mac Truck or where ever you can find them. take care of it and it will last a long time.
