2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission ? Inches of Hg our vacuum pump makes?

Just wondering if anyone knows a way to check " of hg on our trucks' vac pump. I want to check it's performance. I have access to test equip. but wondered if any of our TDR'ers have tried and what was found. I. E. " @ idle in nuetral, etc.

The '97 manual calls for a min of 8. 5" and up to 25". If I recall I got about 20" when I checked mine(on the 97). I would just hook up a vacumme gage to the pump and start it up, should see at least 8. 5"

I checked mine and at 5300 ft alt I got about 23"
