Ok what was the problem with driving just curious :) . I think if i would have run it up to 50-55mph then said go i would have done alittle better i was going from 40mph. I have been told to run in 5th but they said 4th not sure if this makes a differance or not this was my first time running it myself and i liked it:D :p :)

Great job Ryan. I had to leave right after my buddies truck ran but i was wondering if your going to post the results. It was a lot of fun especially when me and my buddy were trying to find a good spot in nobelsville to try and tune the nos we just got working for the first time. Even though I don't have any drugs yet, i can see how they become very addicting. Thanks, Matt

I know every one is hungry for some numbers so they below.

I would like to thank all of the sponsors for the event. We got off to a rough start when the dyno broke on the first run of the first truck. After awhile with some assistance a plan was developed. With the help of Gary Cleverly we located another dyno at Automotive Specialists in Noblesville, IN about 45 minutes away that was willing to accomodate us so we started a massive caravan.

Peter and the guys at Cozzolino continued to work on the dyno to try to get it up and running again. Some of the guys opted to wait it out at Cozzolino's which paid off for them as I got a call before I had reached the second location that Cozzolino's was up and running.

The High HP part of the event was conducted at Automotive Specialists as well as the door prize drawings and the auction for the EDGE certificate. The EDGE certificate went for $400. For the people who won door prizes and were not present, I will be shipping them this week.

I want to thank Ryan and JR and everyone else that helped out with this event. I know it went south at first but Ryan pulled it off (great job Ryan). I also want to thank all the vendor's and everyone that came and participated (this is what keeps this sport alive and growing).

It was a beautiful day!! Sun was shining, no wind, warm enough to walk around in a T-Shirt... and lots and lots of diesel pickups!!

Even though the dyno went down on the first run I thought it was a great time! I got to meet many members and look at some very nice trucks. The turnout was super. I kinda wished I would have taken the convoy to Noblesville but I decided to stay with the ship. They worked hard and figured out the problems at Cozzolino. Good work!!

I'm still seeing black everytime I blow my nose. :D

I had a great time and got to see lots of 'freaks' I haven't seen since TiM '03.

They did get the dyno up and running at Cozzilino's but the #'s where really off. :(

My truck (the first truck to run and the one that broke the dyno)put down 410hp but they couldn't get the RPM sensor to work. The next 4 or 5 trucks all dyno'd really low with torque #'s in the 300 and 200 range. One guy in a Chevy put the truck in park thinking the brakes where set on the dyno and the transmission didn't care for it much. I think the was one Dodge that went over 450hp before I left. The guys at Cozzilino's also put a nice hudge 24" scratch in my door as well.

All in all it turned out to be an expensive day for me.

Not sure, I think someones botton or zipper on their coat did it. :( My truck sat back in that hole chained to the dyno for close to 4 hours and with all the people that walked in and around it I'm not sure if the guys with Cozzolino's even did it. The scratch it self is about 24" long and runs almost the full length of the quad cab door.

The truck is almost 6 years old and I've managed to keep major scratches and dents out of it till this weekend. :( Sucks that you take such good care of something then someone else that could give a _ _ _ _ less gets around it and then tares it up. :-{}

Oh well, I've learned my leson, I'll only dyno with David Dunbar now.

What happened?

What happened to the Dyno Day? I went up around noon and found no vendors, no awards, no door prizes, or anything. I heard that the Dyno broke that morning. Just wondered what happened to everyone. Did everyone leave? I was expecting more excitement. No one was real forth coming with any information there.

I still got to see some trucks on the Dynol. That was pretty cool. My friend who bought my old truck put it on the dyno. It was 253hp and 677ft-lbs.

Well, I still had some fun and appreciate the effort everyone put into this. Hope you do this again next year and I get to see more.

Dave

Willy1947... many trucks arrived. In fact parking was a little problem because of all the trucks. On the first dyno run... the dyno had some issues and would not work. I dont know exactly what the issues were or why they occured.

Later it was decided to move the dyno runs to Noblesville north of Indy to another shop location. A large convoy of trucks headed up there to finish the day. Some decided to stick around the Cozzolini shop and hang out.

I didn't notice alot of vendors but maybe two... then again I didn't know there were supposed to be much in the way of vending. Just dynos and shootin the bull.

Too bad we didn't have a christmas tree or a sled! There was some room out there for that!

I thought the dyno at Cozzolino's seemed fairly accurate if you could get spooled. Mine spooled pretty nicely and I was able to hit 458. 1. Cozzolino's was really turning out the trucks once they got going.

If you could get spooled. I couldn't get my 1 st gen to spool at all. I never made more than 20 psi and never got over 900 on the pyro. If I could have got spooled I would have been weel over 200/500, instead I got 177/407. When I pulled out of the bay and nailed it behind the building I hit 30 lbs of boost and 1350 on my egt, so they never could load it. Plus my tire, got cut. So I was pretty well ******.

I'm not sure there was a trick. I gained about 30 hp by using 5th vs. 4th gear. I think maybe I could/should have squeezed out a few more hp. However, I wanted more of a measure of useable power and not a momentary spike. Have a good one,

andy

I read somewhere that you should dyno in 5th so thats what i was going to do until the they told me to run in 4th and since this was the first time to run it myself i figured ok why not. So does everyone feel the numbers were a in the ball park of what they thought or were you disapointed
