I have just recently purchased a TST for my 05. I am not unhappy with it at all, but I was sure that it would eat my clutch and turbo fairly easily. I am just going by all of the info that I had read about the TST on here. It does increase power, but when I get up to level 4 or 5, it feels like it planes out. I do not have a FP gauge but feel sure that the reason for not having that "crazy" power is that I am running out of fuel.
Now, as you have just read, I spent all my money on the TST. So, I have decided to engineer a pusher pump system. I am looking for any and all comments. The sound of the FASS is great, but the price cuts deep. I am going to go with the Holley blue and plumb it up the most efficient way. I have read that it will not perform up to spec when trying to "suck" through the factory in-tank pump. How do I plumb around it? Where is the best place to T into the factory line? Is the factory line sufficient? Can I run both, factory and Holley, if so, should I put the holley on a switch and just run it when I need it? Finally do I need to use the regulator that comes with it?
There it is. All out on the table. If anyone has any info on this project that might make it easier I would really appreciate it.
