The initial code name for the Pentagon (news - web sites)'s response to attacks on the United States, Operation Infinite Justice, likely will be changed to avoid offending Muslims, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said on Thursday.
The issue arose at a Pentagon briefing when a reporter told Rumsfeld that several Islamic scholars objected to the name on the ground that only God, or Allah, can mete out infinite justice in their view.
``I understand. I understand,'' Rumsfeld replied. ``And obviously, the United States does not want to do or say things that create an impression on the part of the listener that would be a misunderstanding, and clearly that would be. ''

Talking about petty - Muslims seem to be worse than any Baptist organization I have ever been associated with. I've seen Baptists get upset over someone removing the 5 year old dusty plastic flowers from "My Mother's Grave" off the communion table.
We need a Presidential commision composed of Muslim, Pentecostal, Seventh Day Adventist, Mormon, Catholic, Buddhist, religious experts to name a WAR. For Pete's Sake!
Let's just blow the enemies strongholds to kingdom come and let Jehovah-God figure out which war they died in!!! Which I'm sure the name Jehovah is offensive - as well as Yaweh, or I AM.
