The factory power amp for my 95 RAM Infinity stero system quit. It is shorted out and just blows the fuse. Does anyone know where the amp is located at in the truck so I can replace it?
In my 98, there was an amp mounted on each front door speaker.
the radio Power antenna lead triggered a relay that turned power on to the amps.

If the 95 is the same as the 99' I have two good amps (on bad speakers ) for the doors . The amps are removable from the speakers , and both of the amps I have are still functional. Let me know if ya' need em'.
If your blowing fuse #17 I would pull the connection plugs off the back of the radio, put in another fuse. If it blows again you might have a problem with the radio choke. The radio filter choke/speaker relay is used to switch power to the individual speaker amplifiers used with the Infinity premium speaker package.
