Hi - I've done a bunch of searching but I'm still unclear on whether I can install an Infinity Stereo head and Infinity speakers out of a '98 into my '95. The '95 is a non Infinity truck so I have concerns about the wiring but I'm thinking I could get the proper wiring harness if I needed. Or, is it just too much trouble?

BTW, I just picked up the '95 after last having an '02 and I'm real excited about having a 12v to bomb. The only thing I don't like so far is the placement of the cruise controls on the steering wheel and the cup holder placement so high up on the dash. Other than that, I love the truck.

TIA,

Doug

It is my understanding that there is an amplifier for the speakers somewhere in the truck that may be a bit of an issue not sure though.

i installed a cd/tape head unit from a 02 durango in my 96 with a couple adaptor harnesses and a little dremmel work, i can post some pics when i get home, never had my hands on a infinity but i hear they have some odd amps in the doors which may be weird to wire up

Thanks, from what I've been able to dig up it appears the amps are on the speakers themselves so it would seem that the wiring would be the main issue. I'm pretty certain the radio head is an exact fit. My problem is that I ain't the brightest bulb out there when it come to this kinda stuff and I'd hate to make an expensive mistake.
