Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Of those of you out there who've experienced the dreaded speaker rattle, did the TSB repair work? I've read where others have gotten their speakers replaced with a new part #, but DC only found a "miswired" factory harness on my truck. The rewire "cured" the rattle, presumable due to at least one speaker being wired out-of-phase from the factory. The resulting fix, while GREATLY increasing bass output, has turned the sound to mud.
1) Has anyone else found this to be the case?
2) Has anyone who has had the drivers replaced with the new part number found an improvement in sound, i. e. , less muddy bass?
